We haved recently added 2 new supporters
Coastal Rivers thanks Merchants and Marine Bank
and
BP for their generous donations to our efforts.
The Department of Marine Resourses and the Mississippi
Gulf Coast National Heritage Area have also recently
awarded Coastal Rivers a new grant and we will soon
be providing information on the NOAA Grant.
After cleaning marshes of almost 3000 lbs of trash, before the oil started coming ashore, we have now stopped clean -ups in the lower parts of the river.
We will soon start our clean ups farther up the river.
Check back here and the Facebook Page for dates of clean-ups.
