More than 30 refrigerators removed in the last year

It's been a year and we have done a lot, but there is so much more to do. The Pascagoula River is cleaner and in the last year between Coastal Rivers and Mississippi Power more than 30 refrigerators and freezers have been removed.

This years Mississippi Coastal Cleanup will see Coastal Rivers move into west Jackson County and possibly into Harrison County. We are also going to work with some groups of paddlers to help with handling litter and debris.

We have completed 7 local clean-ups so far this year and presented litter prevention info to over 400 people
