Over 6000lbs of litter removed from our waterways this year

2009 a Success

As 2009 marked the end of our second year, we are happy to report that we got a lot of trash out of the River. We also recieved funding from Delta Sanitation again this year. We also recieved a grant from the American Canoe Association, that grant was funded by L.L Bean

We expanded our cleanup efforts this year to cover more sites, incuding Fort Bayou and East Beach in Ocean Springs.

We completed 18 local clean-ups this year and presented litter prevention info to over 500 people
